An American Militia Officer's sword by Henry V Allien N.Y. with a 26 inch straight tapering blade and etched with an Eagle with shield. US within military trophies, foliate scrolls and a maker to the ricasso. The hilt has a Knights head pommel and criciform guard in brass and a fluted bone grip. This pattern of sword was carried around the middle of the 19th century and is referred to as a sergeants or Militia sword.

Mid 19th century Indian Katar. A good quality example with double edged blade, chisel double blood groove and with heavy armour piercing point. Hilt of typical steel form with extended wrist guard and double rod cross grip. The interior hilt chased with floral decoration and overlaid with gold leaf. Good condition, blade remains clean, gold leaf to hilt a little worn.
