A Franklin Mint Wyatt Earp Commemorative .44 Schofield Revolver

This is a non-firing (and cannot be made to fire) nickel plated replica of the Schofield .44 calibre revolver as used by Wyatt Earp in the gunfight at the OK Corral, that was originally issued by the Franklin Mint. Confirmed by historians the .44 calibre Schofield was used at the legendary gunfight for its many useful features including the right balance and feel, and the ‘break-open action’ at the top of the gun which enabled quick reloading. This replica is perfect down to the minutest detail including the missing screw on the bottom of the butt plate where Earp discarded the lanyard ring. Comes complete with a wall display board

Stock No. A787

Remington 'New Model' Army Revolver

This is a good example of a Remington .44 cap and ball revolver, manufactured between 1863 and 1875. It has a good bore and cylinder action. This type of revolver was used extensively throughout the American Civil War and was preferred over it's Colt comparable revolver because of it's increased strength due to its topstrap and the speed and ease of changing the cylinder, enabling spare loaded cylinders to be carried.

The barrel measures 6 ½ inches in length and the overall length of the pistol is 13 ½ inches.
