A brass over and under tap action flintlock overcoat pistol by Twigg, London (1732 - 1790). With screw off barrels, numbered 5 and 6 to match numbering on body. Sliding pan lock and safety and slab sided bag shaped butt with white metal escutcheon. Action strong and crisp. In overall good condition. The overall length of the pistol is 8 inches with 2 1/2 inches barrels.
